Jesus: Man of the People

This production tells the world-changing story of Jesus Christ: his life and ministry; his death and resurrection, all the way to Pentecost.
Set in the modern day, the play provides a creative and fresh perspective, taking the audience on a journey through laughter, tears and wonder. Constantly intertwined with Scripture, it tells the revelational story of Jesus, man of the people. The play has been described as “honest, powerful, moving and witty.”
CHURCHES
There are two options available for churches to book the full-length version of this production. For both options, we will deliver the same full-scale, professional theatre show with exciting stage set, costumes and lighting.
Included in both booking fees:
- Highly-rated, professional theatre production
- Lighting and sound – we bring all of our own equipment needed
- Advertising pack* to help you promote your event
- Online ticket sale system available
* Advertising pack includes a pull-up banner, A3 posters, up to 200 flyers and advertising on the Oddments website. More advertising can be purchased at an additional fee.
We ask churches to make a contribution towards the fuel cost of our travel. Our suggested contributions are as follows:
< 50 Miles – £25 < 100 Miles – £50 < 200 Miles – £75
Most of our events are part of a tour, in which case the fuel contribution is split between events and normally works out around £35.
Booking Option 1
Cost: £680
- You pay the £680 booking fee, but the first 50 ticket sales go to you to help you reclaim the bulk of this cost. The rest of the ticket sales go to Oddments.
- We ask for a contribution towards fuel.
- Ticket prices are set nationally at £12.50 in advance, £14.00 on the day, unless the church chooses to subsidise the tickets at their own expense.
Booking Option 2
Cost: £925
- You pay £925 booking fee which allows you to provide free entrance or charge any price for tickets without having to subsidise.
- You take any ticket sales you make.
- We ask for a contribution towards fuel.
- This is a great opportunity for an outreach event!
schools, prisons and smaller church events
We can offer an hour-long version of this show, with reduced stage set and without stage lighting effects. This is a great option for church services, secondary school events and prison shows. We may ask you to contribute towards fuel.
Please note that the simplified version is only available as part of a tour or within a 70 mile radius of Yeovil, Somerset (with the exception of some prison events for which we have additional funding). Please enquire for more information about where we are touring.
PRICING:
CHURCHES: £450
SCHOOLS: £425 for one show, £465 for two shows
PRISONS: Free of Charge due to the generousity of our supporters. Donations towards fuel are appreciated but not expected.
